It's amazing how fast we can make progress when we have so many wonderful volunteers helping us out! In just a few short weeks we have the framing done, walls, roof, and windows going up!

Launching the first LEED® for Homes Alachua Habitat for Humanity Women Build!
On Saturday, November 6th, 2010, the Alachua Habitat for Humanity Women Build launched their next project at 23260 NW 178th Place High Springs, FL 32643. This build will be the first LEED® for Homes registered project for the Alachua Habitat for Humanity organization.
LEED® for Homes is a rating system that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes. Green homes use less energy, water and natural resources, create less waste, and are more durable and comfortable for occupants.
